Your Impact
We’re seeking a Senior Executive Administrator for Axon’s federal business unit. This role will be responsible for prioritizing schedules and projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role will help improve productivity for the President of Axon Federal and his leadership team to ensure their time is spent efficiently and deliberately. This role will also provide calendar, meeting, and travel assistance to maximize efficient use of resources, track and maintain conference room schedules and availability, and help with other detailed, complex, and confidential duties as needed.
Your Day to Day
- This is a critical and highly visible role that is responsible for leading administrative duties and enhancing the business executives’ effectiveness by providing information management support and representing the executive to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support Axon Federal’s senior leadership team, manage and organize calendars, arrange travel, and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to align meetings and schedules.
- Effectively communicate with sales executives and team members across the organization.
- Handle business, company, and personnel details of highly confidential and sensitive nature, and engage with high level contacts inside and outside the company.
- Manage and plan extensive travel planning.
- Provide heavy calendar management and serve as the primary gatekeeper for the sales executives’ schedules liaising with internal and external stakeholders – must be comfortable working in multiple time zones.
- Highlight calendar conflicts and execute recommended resolutions.
- Ensure sales executives are prepared for all meetings – securing all materials in advance.
- Anticipate meeting needs including reviewing & securing options for space, technology needs, food and beverage service, providing guest access to the building, hosting arrivals.
- Organize communications and redirect consistent with sales executives’ regular practice.
- Prepare documents, proofreading for accuracy and making recommended changes after others review.
- Partner and collaborate with the Chief of Staff, Federal on strategic initiatives.
- Review and manage Federal leadership team expenses to ensure they are compliant.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive administrator support role
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting C-Suite Executives of a large organization required
- Demonstrated experience planning large, complex events (both internal and external)
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including a high customer service aptitude
- Must be able to plan and organize tasks and appointments with competing levels of urgency and importance
- Advanced Microsoft Outlook user and proficient in other MS Office applications
- Must have a high sense of urgency and follow-up
- Should be able to work with internal and external stakeholders to include the board of directors, executive-level customers, politicians, and senior members throughout multiple organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting executives at federal agencies or federal contractors
- Experience collaborating and partnering with a Chief of Staff
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Equivalent experience in lieu of formal education may be considered
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting
- Concern for quality and deadlines

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 70,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 130,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 80,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 140,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
