JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for student record maintenance (grades, graduation requirements, attendance), student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for ATRIA Medical Institute.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and aid new students or possible recruits
- Maintain professionalism, positive disposition while working with students and staff
- Answer phones, questions per ATRIA catalog and policies
- Be familiar with ATRIA Medical Institute policy and procedures
- Process new student records for admission
- Creating and maintaining students' digital folders
- Receiving application fees, registration fees, tuition
- Schedule and register students for classes
- Receiving scholarship applications, graduation applications, transcript request, refund requests and complete or process as per school policy
- Prepare student badges or name tags
- Order uniforms per student.
- Receive grades and attendance
- Process grades and GPA
- Prepare transcripts
- Ensure that students meet graduation requirements
- Plan commencement ceremonies
- Prepare diplomas for students
- Produce data about students and classes as needed
- Maintain the academic records of the institution
- Ensure student data privacy requirements are met (FERPA)
- Attend meetings as assigned to convey or/or gather information required for perform functions of job
- Assists Executive Director to:
- Schedule space, times, and instructors for classes
- Complete annual reports for accreditation (when we get) and annually for GNPEC
- Recruit students
- Write protocol for front office, and administrative procedures
- Assists other personnel as needed
- Counsel students as needed
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must have extensive front office operational knowledge.
- Computer literate with entry level working knowledge of Microsoft Suites; Outlook, Word
- Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize, and facilitate many on-going tasks at one time
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Professional appearance
- Positive attitude
- Ability to travel to all the offices.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Customer Service
- Scheduling
- Some bookkeeping
