Job Summary 

The Physician & Community Outreach Associate is responsible for building and launching the Ayr Wellness physician and community outreach program in Florida.  Associates will work with the Manager to help develop market plans to identify and build relationships with physicians recommending medical marijuana hat drive patient referrals and oversee community outreach efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build Ayr Wellness referral network through engaging and growing relationships with physicians and clinics recommending medical marijuana.
  • Will be assigned to a territory to achieve the target goals with weekly input to CRM per standards for activity and inquiries.
  • Maintains weekly activity logs and admission data.
  • Source, plan, lead and/or attend local community events including but not limited to new store openings, chamber of commerce events, music festivals, health fairs, medical marijuana conferences, patient and caregiver advocacy events, etc. 
  • Optimize communications with referral partners by deciding on and implementing process paths
  • Create processes to track, measure, and analyze results and outcomes of outreach
  • Lead the public relation efforts to drive dispensary medical program growth across the state.
  • Coordinate a network for patients, caregivers, physicians, and other industry persons to collaborate efforts and maintain a streamline of up-to-date educational information, the needs are for the patient and the doctors to enhance the success of the program and to provide information on local events surrounding the program and patient groups
  • Maintain accurate and current contacts database for accounts (active and targeted); this includes information such as account profiles, individual contact details, opportunities, and communications
  • Create processes to track, measure, and analyze results and outcomes of outreach
  • Establishes and builds credibility and rapport with the community
  • Serves as a liaison with marketing team for collateral materials and promotional activities related to outreach
  • Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development for self and team of Outreach Associates

Qualifications

  • 2 years B2B Sales / Business Development experience
  • Demonstrates ability to learn and apply technical and product related information in a professional and consultative manner
  • High ethical and professional standards
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity and behaviors in accordance with the company mission, vision, and values
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have own auto, valid driver’s license, and insurance
  • Must be able to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or education preferred
