What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing Assistant position at Azelis?

The CASE Pricing Assistant is involved with all aspects of product pricing within the organization. The CASE Pricing Assistant works closely with the CASE Customer Service, Supply Chain and Sales Teams to achieve accurate entry of customer pricing and associated data required for efficient order to cash process. The CASE Pricing Assistant provides the administrative data entry support required to meet time sensitive responsibilities and process efficiency expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be

assigned.

  • Manage centralized pricing department inbox, organizing email workflow by directing to appropriate team member specific to primary responsibilities
  • All data entry associated with accurate customer/product file maintenance
  • Adding and updating customer scheduled pricing
  • Provide monthly and quarterly customer price lists for Azelis Key Accounts
  • Support all pricing team members with administrative support required to manage needs of the business
  • Assist sales team with quoting customers non-competitive prices utilizing market driven suggested list pricebook
  • Proficient utilization of ERP and CRM systems

Other Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)

  • Understand and adhere to/follow the department procedures and policies

  • Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Previous chemical Industry Knowledge helpful
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be organized
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, determining what is critical and needs to be completed
  • Self-motivated, honest, dependable and a high-level of integrity.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, and strong analytical and math skills.
  • Good PC and MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence.
  • Effectively present information as necessary in written and spoken form.
  • Able to treat others with respect and dignity, maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues.
  • Able to effectively work in a team-based and quality driven environment, where all team members hold themselves mutually accountable.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
