HR Generalist
What you would do as our HR Generalist
B&B Railway & Security Solutions LLC, is looking for a hands on, employee focused, HR Generalist to join our team located in Russellville, AL. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to impact all aspects of Human Resources.
You would also:
- Time Off and Attendance tracking
- Coordination with Supervisors to ensure timecards are accurate for payroll submission.
- Recruit direct hire manufacturing employees and work with Temp agencies to provide additional manpower.
- Pre-employment process, onboarding and new hire orientation process of both union and non-union employees.
- Assist Supervisors with Employee counseling.
- Benefits administration, leave of absence administration, open enrollment process, changes, etc.
The skills and experience you need
- At minimum - Associates Degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field with HR experience.
- 3 years comprehensive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience working in a union facility is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working as the sole HR resource onsite for the location.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to be flexible, multi-task and be detail oriented.
