Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Sign Manufacturer to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building and assembling electrical signs, working with LED systems, and familiar with industry standards. This role will involve hands-on work in the production of signs from start to finish, ensuring quality and precision in every project. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble custom electrical signs, including channel letters, sign cabinets, and digital displays
- Work with various materials such as metal, plastic, and vinyl
- Install LED lighting systems and ensure proper electrical wiring for sign functionality
- Interpret design layouts and engineer’s drawings to build signs according to specifications
- Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensure all signage is built to industry standards and complies with UL electrical and safety codes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to OSHA safety protocols
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in signs as needed
- Operate cranes and other equipment for installation when required (training provided if needed)
Qualifications:
- Experience in electrical sign manufacturing or a related field (construction, metal fabrication, electrical)
- Strong knowledge of electrical components and wiring for signage
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sign fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with LED lighting systems, neon, and low-voltage wiring
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Welding and metal fabrication skills are a plus
- Crane operation experience is a plus (certification a bonus)
