Job Summary
We are a Manufacturer / Wholesale company based out of Long island. We are looking for a full time, motivated and resourceful individual to join our buying team.
Requirements:
- Buying experience is a MUST
- Strong communication abilities
- Organization skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Effective negotiating skills
- Forge and maintain trust relationships with suppliers to promote fair dealing
- Monitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budget
- Attend events, fairs, and exhibitions to remain up-to-date with the market’s trends
- Buying experience dealing with retail accounts preferred
- Compensation will be entirely relative to previous buyer experience / roles. If we think you are a good fit, we will contact you to set up an interview.
