Wells Fargo is back in the office, working together for fabulous outcomes. This role is in the office three days a week, seated in the cities posted on the req. There is no Visa Sponsorship or Transfers for this position. We are looking for a Senior Manager, to work within our Cybersecurity Governance Division. You’ll be a player/coach with the ability to step in and do hands on work, as well as support and coach your team. You’re the kind of leader that can motivate, listen, and respond to your team and to critical impacts. You’re good at removing roadblocks and keeping calm in adverse situations. Additionally, you’re a strategic thinker that can provide direction for key initiatives for the Business. We need someone who is process and control focused and is comfortable with challenging topics related to cybersecurity risk. Each day you’ll be supporting various activities, including issue remediation, data analysis to support governance decisions, special projects on topical areas, and business resiliency and records management activities for Cybersecurity Governance. You’ll have strong project management skills and the ability to manage numerous competing demands from internal and external stakeholders. You’ll a relationship orientated professional, comfortable leading a team and working with a wide array of people. You are not afraid of ambiguity or uncertainty and are easily able to convert information into quantifiable concepts. In this role, you will: Manage and develop a team of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk Maintain a broad awareness of the state of information security companywide Identify and recommend complex and innovative solutions addressing functions across all information security domains Identify, formulate, implement information security and Line of Business management Provide strategic direction for Cybersecurity initiatives to ensure delivery of compliant and risk-efficient solutions Set guidelines for compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives Advise more experienced management on issues with high, critical impact Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers Lead team to achieve objectives Interface with Information Security Industry Leaders, Financial industry Leaders, Analysts and Regulators Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Information Security Analysis Perform Business Resiliency services for Cybersecurity Governance and Information Protection Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy Influence the development of corrective actions to ensure appropriate scope and timelines against other priorities. Escalate material matters to management with an appropriate sense of urgency Required Qualifications: 6 years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 3 years of People Leadership experience Desired Qualifications: Strong leadership and influencing skills within a complex, matrixed environment; able to gain support and cooperation and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members to achieve results without direct organizational control Demonstrated experience in managing strategic planning processes, initiatives and teams thinking about business, product, and technical challenges Strong ability to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities Strong knowledge and experience with issue management processes Posting End Date: 15 May 2024 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
