What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment / Fuel Tanker Truck Mechanic position at B3 Enterprises LLC?
B3 Enterprises LLC is a Service-Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business responsible for the Fort Rucker refuel/defuel service contract. B3 is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic with specific experience working Refueler Tanker Trucks for our mobile fuel vehicles fleet.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance specifically aircraft refueling equipment and trucks. Mechanic analyzes malfunctions, maintains, repairs, rebuilds or overhauls major and minor assemblies of internal combustion trucks/tractors and related fuel dispensing equipment. Mechanic operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects. Reads and interprets mechanical and electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints
They must be a quick learner who understands the importance of operational availability, safety, and OSHA/DOT compliance. They should work well with a team of managers, other mechanics, and refuelers with minimal oversight.
Educations and/or Experience:
High school graduate or GED strongly preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B, with X Endorsement. Department of Transportation (DOT) physical certification. ASE Certificate
This is a Union position so Pay is Union CBA based. CBA has benefits, 2% matching 401k and 4.75 per hour worked for 401k. Starting pay is $34.37 per hour with increased rates at 1 year ($37.28) and 2 years ($40.27). Annual pay increases based on CBA.
