Explore a diverse product line that includes main steam condensers, feedwater heaters, moisture separator reheaters (MSRs), and auxiliary heat exchangers.

The Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for the coordination within the organization to ensure a successful execution of the fabrication of the units in Joplin.

Essential Responsibilities :

1) Communicate schedule requirements to the production teams.

2) Monitor project progress of all projects, especially high-value and high-priority projects.

3) Expedite the production teams and the various support functions that may be delaying production in order to achieve the baseline dates of all projects.

4) Randomly perform schedule audits to verify that actual progress on the shop floor (materials and manufacturing) meets reported progress.

5) Provide root cause analysis and assist Production Controls with recovery plans when project schedules fall behind the baseline.

Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :

• Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in related field required.
• Knowledge of material movement or material flow is preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent reading, comprehension, organizational, and planning skills.
• Must have some scheduling knowledge and experience reading and reporting schedule progress in either MS Project of Primavera (P6).
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding processes and manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office operating systems.
• Knowledge of Primavera (P6), DCAP, Kronos & Costpoint programs a plus, but not required.
