What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indoor Stock position at Bachman's Inc.?
Bachman’s was founded in 1885 and remains a family-owned business, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today. Bachman’s operates six full-service Floral, Gift & Garden Centers throughout the Twin Cities, a shop in the Galleria, a Hardscapes Center in Farmington, and 28 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores. Additionally, Bachman’s operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a weddings and special events department, a wholesale nursery division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Lakeville, Minn., which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachman’s today.
Job Duties:
- Maintain store appearance with stocking product, caring for plants, dusting, and cleaning.
- Provide excellent customer service when on the sales floor.
- Receive and verify arrival of product ensuring proper quality standards and billing is correct; unpack and price.
- Perform carryout service and retrieve carts in parking lot.
- Work directly on sales floor, phones, registers assistance, daily, to assist customers.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrates excellent customer relations and communication skills is required.
• Must be able to read and write English, perform basic math skills.
• High energy level.
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction.
• Work is performed in areas with weather extremes of heat and cold, and wet conditions.
• The position requires standing/walking on hard surface during the entire shift, working at a fast pace.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. with frequent bending.
Schedule:
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
- Seasonal April- June
