Summary: Wellness Center Director will be responsible for the programming, staffing and day to day operations of the Wellness Center, including the fitness center, pool area and gymnasium. The director will oversee all aspects of the facility’s operation, from staffing decisions to equipment maintenance and replacement and programming. The director will also be responsible for marketing efforts, developing advertising campaigns, social media content and planning events and seminars to build awareness of the wellness center. This position will start August 2024.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· Design, develop and implement a strategic plan,

· Design, develop and implement programming and staffing plan for wellness center.

· Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence,

· consistent quality of finance and administration;

· recommend resources and timelines needed to achieve strategic plan.

· Responsible for annual budget and maintain costs of operations within the annual budget.

· Responsible for creating a marketing plan to ensure maximum use of facilities by the public and clinic patients.

· Oversees day to day operations.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicant needs to be a well rounded individual with a successful background in wellness center operations (including aquatics), human resources, marketing and fundraising, budgeting and finance. Education and/or Experience:

Required: Bachelor degree required

Minimum 4-8 years experience in a supervisory capacity operating a wellness center or non-profit organization required.

Preferred: Master degree

Other Skills and Abilities:

Required: Certified Pool Operator

Background Check:

This position is contingent on the required ability to pass a background check.

This is a required driver position, must possess a valid state driver’s license, adequate vehicle/liability insurance, and/or meet eligibility for Tribal insurance.

Language Skills:

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Knowledge of computers and software, computer applications, and good typing skills

· Ability to work in diverse settings and communicate effectively with a broad range of related systems.

· Maintain strict compliance with Privacy Act requirements and Confidentiality Policy.
