What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transmission Technician position at Badger Ford Truck Center?
Well-established dealership has an immediate opening for a Light-Duty Truck Transmission Technician to repair manual and automatic transmissions within dealership and manufacturer quality and time standards. Will require manufacturer product-specific training. Applicant must have own tools and strong diagnostic skills. Previous transmission experience is required.
DUTIES:
- Preform transmission repair as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose causes for malfunction
- Determine if additional safety or service work is needed
- Communicate with Manager, advisors, and parts department
- Preform road tests
- Attend training as needed
- Report machinery defects
