BAE Systems is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team in support of a government customer. We are seeking a talented and experienced software, hardware and device test engineer to design, execute and maintain test processes and procedures and build reports summarizing defects and will recommend solutions. You will develop and implement quality standards by identifying new procedures and resolutions based on customer needs. You will serve as the main point of contact for customer support for systems testing and quality control. As a Test Engineer you will:

• Develop and implement standards for inspection, testing and evaluation of relevant systems and devices
• Conduct test reviews and develop best practices for the entire organization
• Design, execute and maintain test scripts
• Build reports summarizing faults and recommend solutions for all defects
• Verify solutions are effective
• Enforce quality standards
• Comply with all policies and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
• A demonstrated high level of accuracy in test procedures and solution development
• Knowledge of network systems procedures
• Knowledge of testing tools
• Ability to identify basic systems and procedural problems and irregularities
• Ability to collect data, establish facts and report conclusions
• Demonstrated management skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• A MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
