BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Test Lead to work on a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development environment. This candidate will support the vision, strategy, planning and ongoing support for the development, deployment, and sustainment of a tasking and collection system. Assigned tasks may include the development of Test Plans, Test Procedures, integration and requirement sell-off. The Test Lead will coordinate with the Technical Team to accomplish program tasks, provide technical solutions, and support system integration on the program.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading the testing and integration of complex and large software development projects. This position requires support of customer meetings and operational system deployment and support activities.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Pay Information:
Salary Range: $131,331 - $223,309
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Must have a Top Secret security clearance
• Experience with software integration and test processes for software development programs
• Experience with requirements verification and stakeholder validation for software transition to OPS
• Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities
• The ability to engage constructively with peers and technical leads to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisions
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Understanding and application of modern software development and systems engineering practices, design principles, techniques, and technologies
• Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settings
• Experience with developing systems engineering process for planning dev, integration and test
• Capable of writing detailed test procedures
• Capable of learning new systems quickly

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Holding an active Top Secret/SCI clearance would be highly desired
• Experience with the Spartan or Skyfire program is highly desired
• Experience with the Cypress Test Automation Tool is highly desired
• Experience with the FADE/MIST tool suite is highly desired
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline, and 10 years related experience or equivalent experience, training and/or certifications
• Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
• Motivated self-starter with good problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
• Ability to develop improved methods to increase program efficiency
• Demonstrated leadership skills (supervisory experience, building teams, mentoring, building customer relationships)
• Ability to negotiate effectively with higher level managers, functional managers, customers, industry partners, and teammates
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Good planning and organizational skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
