Test Supervisor

Job Description
This position will be the supervisor for the test technicians who are responsible for test and troubleshoot of complex military and commercial flight products as well as high power hybrid electric vehicle products.

Responsibilities

Balance a 50 / 50 work split of test technician supervisory and technical test engineering responsibilities.

Foster an environment of learning and development that provides opportunity for career growth for test technicians.
Develop and monitor a test technician training plan that supports employee on-boarding as well as continued growth.
Work closely with Value Stream managers to understand and deliver on production and aftermarket commitments to the business.
Ensure day to day test activities are running efficiently.
Ensure commitment to our "Total customer satisfaction" quality policy.


Successful candidate:

Has a technical background that provides a solid understanding of test technician work content
Is able to communicate well to all parties including Value Stream managers, direct reports as well as with test engineering peers
Inspires trust and confidence of direct reports through demonstrated behaviors of open communication, work ethic and integrity
Has strategic vision to identify areas that need change, coupled with the ability to plan and execute on the vision

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
2 year technical degree
Significant experience as a Test technician
Experience leading a small team

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
4 year technical degree
Test Engineering experience
Supervisory experience
