Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be experienced in office management, bookkeeping, and customer service, with a strong ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role offers a blend of in-office and remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage basic office functions and ensure smooth daily operations
- Perform weekly payroll data entry and bookkeeping data entry
- Assist with account reconciliations and general data entry tasks
- Review and process outgoing customer invoices
- Handle accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) data entry
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files
- Interact with tenants via text/email, phone, or in-person at the office
- Provide general administrative support and assist with other office-related tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in an office setting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong punctuality and reliability
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Firm yet polite demeanor when interacting with customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing other employees
- NY Notary Public license
- Experience with Appfolio rental software
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $20-$22 depending on experience
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
