Reports to: Manager, Product Management

BAI is the financial services industry’s leading provider of powerful tools, relevant content and meaningful connections.  Our mission is to give financial services leaders the confidence to make smart business decisions because a strong financial services industry helps consumers, businesses and communities thrive.  The Marketing Manager, Product will be responsible for developing Learning & Development’s product marketing strategies, plans, and materials. They will oversee the production of all product launches, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.  In addition to keeping focus on using communications to increase leads, sales, and product adoptions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Learning & Development’s products and their benefits for different organizations as well as different people within those organizations
  • Follow and analyze market trends and competitor brands
  • Leverage market research, sales performance, customer behavior, and product capabilities to: create marketing strategy; help position products; and measure campaign performance
  • Responsible for recommending appropriate marketing strategies for different situations, including: awareness, remarketing, content marketing, paid media advertising, social network marketing, referral programs, events, etc
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Product teams to better understand client perspectives and ensure effective messaging delivery throughout the sales process
  • Translate technical details into benefits that can be easily understood by different audiences as needed
  • Craft compelling messages and identify tactics that have the best chance of generating quality leads
  • Maintain a lead scoring system across marketing channels that nurtures prospects, qualifies leads, and changes behavior
  • Responsible for identifying appropriate electronic advertising methods including: SEO, Pay-Per-Click, key word advertising, email marketing, and social media advertising
  • Oversee the creative development of promotional materials, online content, advertisements, and other marketing-related tactics
  • Communicate with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers, and then share the results with the Learning & Development cross-functional team
  • Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback
  • Manage the creation and updating of sales support, lead generation and awareness materials such as sell sheets, brochures, case studies, eNewsletters, whitepapers, webinars, and lead generation tools
  • Manage additional projects and initiatives as required

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years marketing experience
  • Balance of strategic and tactical experience in B2B marketing with an emphasis on developing integrated sales and marketing plans
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience in new business lead generation
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Highly effective communicator (written and oral) who works well in a team environment and can lead multiple projects
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Experience working successfully in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with a wide variety of product marketing tactics (email, webpages, search engines, social media, video, webinars, public relations, advertising, events, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SEA, SEO, and web analytics tools
  • Experience with Marketo, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Experience marketing training or software-as-a-service products is a plus
