Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently - Prepare and package medications for distribution - Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs - Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Enter patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system - Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication administration - Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards Skills: - Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures - Proficiency in medical terminology and abbreviations - Familiarity with different types of medications, including inhalation and IV infusion - Ability to perform calculations related to medication dosages accurately - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines - Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile compounding - Experience in acute care or critical care settings is preferred but not required Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and contribute to the well-being of our patients while gaining valuable experience in the field of pharmacy. Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
