Job Summary:
Royal Oak Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Prepare prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process patient transactions and insurance claims
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Assist in the preparation of sterile products using aseptic technique
- Support pharmacists in medication therapy management
Skills:
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Strong patient care skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Understanding of pharmacy operations
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Familiarity with critical care medications
- Ability to deliver excellent patient service
- Experience with IV infusion and inhalation medications
- Competence in aseptic technique
