About us:
Baker Aviation Maintenance LLC is seeking experienced and knowledgeable A&P Mechanics to join our FAA 135 MaintenanceTeam. We are looking to expand our business to add mobile mechanics to our team. We have vans fully equipped for all maintenance needs. Our primary focus is Citation X maintenance and repairs in the SoCal, Fort Worth, Miami and NJ/NY area.
Job Duties:
Aircraft AOG Maintenance:
- Local and within 8 hours driving distance of TEB
- Long distance via airline travel if needed
Regular and Preventative Maintenance:
- All Northeast airports as needed or as practical depending on location and outside service cost/availability.
Aircraft Checkups:
- Visit each airplane at least weekly at local airports to service fluids, perform post flight inspections and correct minor items.
- As needed/scheduled by DOM
Maintenance Admin:
- Preparing log entries using A&P certificate.
- Performing MELs for items that will be deferred per aircraft MEL and DOM guidance.
- Filling out BA 1008 maintenance discrepancy forms to return aircraft to service.
Essential Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum experience in jet aircraft maintenance
- Citation X experience is highly desirable
- Requires a high school education or GED and an A&P certificate (not required but preferred).
- Physical strength and agility are required to lift heavy parts/equipment and to access all portions of the planes for inspection/repair purposes.
- Inspection and repair of aircraft require good visual acuity and eye-hand coordination.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
