General Summary:
BakerTriangle is a construction subcontractor that strives to use technology as a competitive advantage. The IT Technician II role is pivotal in accomplishing this goal. This role will be responsible for supporting internal clients with new setups, troubleshooting, printing, and light training.
Responsibility of IT Technician 2:
- Handle helpdesk tickets daily
- Setup new hires and workflows using ManageEngine / Setup physical workstations/desktops/laptops
- Handle email/SPAM troubleshooting via filtering solution
- Troubleshoot physical networking issues (tone/test/repunch)
- Handle Security/Fire Alarm systems in locations
- Manage Xerox copiers supplies and service calls
- Manage MDM solution by creating automation and deployment
- Manage Verizon/ATT tablet and phone solutions with warranty repairs and cost savings
- Maintain backup schedules with workstations/laptops
- Assist with the streamlining of different job roles within the organization
- Provide/Create training for the workforce when needed
- Coordinates new software releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and users
- Other duties as required
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are a MUST
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
- Must be able and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Work well as a part of a team and independently
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years IT experience
- Authorized to work in the US (Required)
Physical Demands
- Long periods of work that primarily involves sitting
- Work that includes occasionally moving objects up to 60 pounds
- Valid drivers license for jobsite/remote office traveling
