Job Description

We are seeking a Shipping And Receiving - Counter Sales to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities and assist with counter sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material
  • Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
  • Arrange appropriate transportation of products
  • Assist customers with shipping inquiries
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields is not necessary, Positive attitude and wanting to learn is required
  • Ability to handle physical workload. Lift a daily average 300 lbs in 50 # boxes
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills- detailed orientated.
  • Make periodic deliveries
  • Help as needed with counter sales- answer phone

We serve the Medical, Industrial and Food Industries we are the Service leader in SE and NW Ohio. We have 9 locations in SE Michigan and NW Ohio. The industrial gas business is a secure industry. Home nightly and overtime given after 8 hours. Overtime required. Occasional Saturdays washing trucks.
