HR Generalist for Food Production Company in Tracy, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday Start at 7am or 8am, 8-9 hour days
Pay: $65k DOE
The Human Resources Generalist assists the Human Resources Director ensuring all HR functions and tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently. As the link between the company’s management and employees, the HR Generalist is responsible for a multitude of tasks including payroll, employee benefit administration, employee relations, recruitment, and retention, and more.
This role is responsible for attracting, motivating, and retaining the most qualified talent for The Company. It involves responding to employee and management needs and requests, planning, coordinating, and evaluating projects, assisting with the preparation and delivery of HR reports, presentations, and employment related documentation, and providing administrative support.
The HR Generalist has a high level of direct employee contact and collaboration, and must always provide a professional, efficient, and better than expected level of service to employees and visitors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related or equivalent education/work experience
- One to Three years applicable experience in Human Resources
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline
- Three to Five years applicable experience in Human Resources
- Experience working in the food industry, preferably with a meat processing company
- SHRM- CP and/or PHR Certification
- ADP Workforce Now payroll processing experience
