Janitorial Custodian

We are currently seeking a Janitorial Custodian located in Lodi, CA.

• Weekly Pay
• $18-$22/hr
• Monday- Friday
• Temp to hire
• Day shift 6:00am-2:30pm (45min lunch)
• Train for 4 weeks on Monday-Friday 4:00am-12:30pm

Job Duties:

• Maintain the front office; vacuuming all carpets; wiping down counters, & empty trash cans.
• Maintain offices in hallways; including dusting, empty trash cans, & sweeping.
• Maintain all hallways & floors. (sweeping & mopping)
• Maintain windows; including wiping down and washing if necessary.
• Maintain all restrooms; including sinks, toilets, mirrors, handrails, dispensers & floors.
• Maintain break room; including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, mop floors, when needed, empty trash.
• Maintain tool room; including sink and coffee area, sweep floors, mop floors.
• Maintain the cage; order janitorial supplies.
• Maintain all areas in the Production Dept.; including emptying water buckets, cleaning doorway aisles and rows.
• Polish floors monthly; including using a heavy-duty commercial floor scrubber/polisher.

Requirements:

• 6 recent months of experience as a janitor
• Ability to maintain good employee relations by acting courteously and amicably towards other co-workers.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds at approximately waist to shoulder height.
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment; including gloves and masks.
• Ability to operate an Advantage Floor Cleaning machine with wet-vac attachment.
