NOW HIRING: Long-term Care Admissions Nurse
Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity with an established HealthCare facility, look no further! The Arlington Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center, in Birmingham, AL is currently seeking long-term care Admissions Nurse to join our team. This candidate would be responsible for reviewing and assessing patients who are referred for admission into our rehabilitation facility. Experience in a long-term care environment, knowledge of MDS, and supervisory experience are necessary. If you have a desire and a passion to serve the rehabilitation and healthcare needs in both long-term and short-term care, this is the opportunity for you!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Alabama
- Experience in a long-term care environment
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs
