Job Summary
As a Communications Manager, your main duties will include creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company’s brand, products, and services. Coordination with social and digital marketing strategies across all channels, as well as strategic delivery of casino communications across all mediums. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills.
Duties And Responsibilities
We are looking for a self-motivated and talented communications manager to lead our communications department. In this position, you will be in charge of producing high-quality content that engages customers and builds brand recognition.
Your main duties will also include creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company’s brand, products, and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Create, write, proof all communication sent internally and to the public domain. Consult with executive management to develop effective communication procedures and policies for various situations or crises. Communicate with media outlets and create press kits and / or awareness, as directed. Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, speeches, newsletters, and related marketing materials. Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner. Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready. Prepare detailed media activity reports. Oversee and manage social media strategies in alignment with the player database and increasing play and club membership. Develop strategies, create and manage content for social media. Develop social media strategy utilizing CRM, website, and market research data. Collaborate to improve the design, user experience, traffic, and content of the website. Manage and maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms and ensuring brand consistency between all marketing and communications. Plan and implement customer data tying into the online content deployment strategy to support the business goals. Manage and measure social campaigns. Report on results and set organizational KPIs and implement within dashboards. Develop strategies, create and manage content for social media. Measure and interpret data to develop customer profiling and behavior, build content strategies and multichannel customer experience journeys. Work with internal departments to generate new ideas and strategies. Champion and coordinate with management on internal property newsletters and assist in other employee communications as needed. Identify opportunities to boost brand awareness and growth through digital brand communications. Create communication and collaborate on marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions. Assist with or manage special projects / duties as assigned. Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere. Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous. Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board. Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field. Two to four years of casino marketing experience. Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite. High-level public relations and customer service skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must have a working knowledge of table games and slot machines. Must be able to work weekends, weeknights, and holidays.
