Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities or those in need of neurological rehabilitation.

Our services include special education, vocational training, supported employment, structured day programs, group home and apartment programs both on-campus and in the community, short-term behavioral stabilization services for children, and in-home and outpatient rehabilitation services.

Bancroft is currently seeking an HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources department in our Moorestown, NJ Employee Center.

Responsibilities

This position acts as a strategic partner and works collaboratively with employees, managers and the leadership team in an assigned client group.   Provide Human Resources guidance, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and supporting organizational engagement and retention initiatives.

 

  • Consults with client group at all employee levels providing HR guidance when appropriate including topics including but not limited to employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, talent development, training, and occupational health-related matters.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with other HR functions to develop solutions and policies. 
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues.  Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to front-line management, including coaching, counseling, career development,and disciplinary actions. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build positive morale, and increase retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of five years of Human Resource experience required, with a strong background in employee relations. 
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Well developed time management skills 
  • Must be able to travel locally within the South Jersey area
