The AMRS NFRR Risk and Governance Lead is responsible to support overall Markets Operations NFRR ownership of the full reports compendium, ensuring adherence to NFRR Governance Framework in preparation, timeliness, accuracy and sustainability. This role will ensure reports are delivered to regulatory third parties by a law, rule or regulation, and manage all governance and controls around NFRR from a people, system, process, and risk perspective.
Responsibilities:
This role will have to drive the prioritization and ensure effectiveness of all Governance and Risk-related infrastructure development. The role will be required to partner closely with Risk & Control Leads for self-identified issues and work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) program for the NFRR reporting suite. This role will lead, oversee, provide guidance, and partner closely with Report Preparers and NFRR Central Team to ensure all requirements and timelines are met for NFRR Acceleration Program body of work.
Requirements:
Work with the Team to drive AMRS GMO NFRR strategic direction in close alignment with enterprise NFRR Framework, within the geography covered, with strong local and regional connectivity.
Immediate focus to be accountable and take governance ownership of the inventory of the NFRR in AMRS
Accountable to RDM SLT for on-going reporting of the health of NFRR Governance and Risk and demonstrate strong thought leadership to drive this book of work effectively, collaborating closely with GMO AMRS leads and various partners.
Lead strong cadence to identify horizontal thematic issues, establish and execute a sustainable way forward plan in line with the NFRR Framework
Manage and mitigate risks across operational processes. This includes review and identification of risk and develop the necessary resolutions to close any gaps in control measures
Risk/Compliance/Data/Audit:
Provide regulatory and audit exam management in partnership with Compliance for internal and external reviews
Build a culture and process to identify, mitigate, and control operational risk
Manage the operational risk with stable operations and full compliance to local and global regulations
Satisfactory audits, reviews, exams (internal and regulator driven)
Requires Experiences/Skills:
Must have prior experiences working in financial services industry. Global Markets experiences is highly desired
Must have Risk, Compliance, Audit engagement experience; previous experiences working in Risk, Compliance or Audit a plus.
Previous project management experiences a plus.
Strong communications and relationship management skills. Proven experiences in building professional relationships across various business partners/leaders as well as the ability to influence and act independently
Proven ability to drive change in a matrixed environment
Ability to analyze and comprehend complex processes/workflows
Ability to understand various internal and external rules, laws and regulations
Ability to work in a very deadline driven environment
