What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Management Associate position at Bank of China?
The incumbent will be responsible for performing financial statement compilation, financial statement audit adjustments, US GAAP accounting treatment research and other accounting management operation tasks.
Job Duties
Include but are not limited to:
Accounting Management
- Review regulation fee assessment and its annual regulation change and update procedure.
- Prepare journal entries for regulation assessment fee, BOLI, year-end profit transfer, year-end head office IFRS closing, and any assigned reports.
- Assist GL Maintenance and responses inquiries.
- Conduct US GAAP research and analysis for new product accounting treatment as assigned and research, draft and update Accounting Treatment as assigned.
- Consolidate and submit U.S. States Abandoned Property Report.
Financial Statement Compilation
- Prepare assigned parts of financial statement, draft disclosure notes, cash flow statement, audit adjustment entries, response audit inquiries, and quarterly financial statement analysis report.
- Maintain financial statement and audit trial files.
- Provide response to any inquiries related to Financial Statement.
- Conduct US GAAP research and analysis for financial statement compilation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, major in Accountancy related fields are required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of accounting related experience is required. Experience in public accounting firms or bank accounting is preferred.
- Bilingual abilities in Mandarin is preferred.
