Job Duties

• Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; recording night and mail deposits; answering questions in person or on the phone referring to bank services
• Records transactions by logging them into the internal system
• Answers customer inquiries; informing customers of new services and promotions; assessing customers’ needs and directing them to a branch representative
• Completes special requests by closing accounts; taking orders for checks; providing special statements, copies, and referrals
• Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions; counting and packaging currency and coins; reconciling loan coupons and other transactions; turning in excess cash to head teller; maintain a supply of cash and currency
• Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all required training
• Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential
• Provides top notch customer service to clients at all times

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Some cash handling experience preferred
• Needs to have basic math skills
• Good Customer Service
• Ability to multitask
