About the Opportunity Bankers Life and Casualty Company is growing and recruiting intelligent, dedicated, outgoing professionals who are interested in a rewarding career in insurance sales management.
The Unit Field Trainer is the first level of management in the Branch Sales Office that is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding and on the job training for sales agents, in addition to maintaining their own personal production standards.
Additional responsibilities include :
- Train and mentor agents; responsible for a downline of agents and accountable for their performance and compliance to policies and procedures
- Provide day-to-day guidance, consultation and mentoring for the development strategies of agents (production oriented) to help agents become successful
- Maintain personal production to achieve established goals and objectives
- May also have a role in recruiting efforts as assigned by branch; will be instrumental in the onboarding and development of licensed agents;
will help facilitate the licensing training for other agents
- Conduct on-the-job training though joint field work with new agents that includes appointment sharing and commission splits
- Actively participate in management team meetings and support the Branch Sales Office in meeting stated
Qualifications & Experience
- Recruitment, onboarding and on the job training for sales agents
- Experience creating and delivering sales presentations
- Pipelining / building a sales channel
- Sales forecasting
- Experience prospecting, networking and new business development
- Experience in Life, Health, or other personal lines of insurance
- Retail sales experience
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- HS degree required; BS preferred
- 1-3 years previous experience in an insurance agent position; 3-5 years is preferred
- Strong results orientation is required
