Application Security Specialist - Operations, Ridgeland MS

General Position Scope:   Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and removal of BankPlus employees in various software applications. Work with Internal Audit to ensure appropriate employee access is maintained. Provide annual security reviews to the Information Security Officer and Internal Audit.   Primary Duties and Responsibilities:   Responsible for user and application security for approximately 35 banking related systems with over 750 users. Add, maintenance, and delete BankPlus employees in various software applications. Maintain door access and door schedules in Mircom system for our Administration, Operations, Southaven, District and Fairpark locations. Maintain internally housed User, Application and Job Definition Management. System, which contains User Application Access lists and acceptable applications for all HR job titles. Review system audit logs on a daily and monthly basis to ensure procedural compliance and accuracy. Communicate with executives and department managers to ensure appropriate access is maintained at the user level as well as the department/group level. Develop security implementation plans for system and software releases. Develop roadmap for department growth, improved processes, and efficiencies. Assist and support system owners and department managers during upgrades and system and software releases. Keep abreast of system upgrades and system and software releases. Review monthly user reports to ensure current user employment. Prepare annual security audits for Information Security Officer and Internal Audit. Evaluate group/user security for annual security audits on all critical systems and biennial audits on non-critical systems. Provide leadership to and train Application Security backups. Monitor Application Security backups’ daily changes, as needed, for accuracy and compliance. Create, utilize, and update excel macros as needed for security reviews and reporting. Update Application Security instructions to maintain up-to-date direction for Application Security backups. Provide user and password account unlock and reset support to the Help Desk when needed. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct. Be available for after hours on call rotation. Perform other duties as requested. Participate in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program. Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.   Position Requirements:                                                                                                       High School diploma 3 to 5 years of experience related to user application access OR 3 to 5 years of banking experience General computer knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook Mainframe computer experience preferred Silverlake experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills
