Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center Metro Square is currently hiring for a Full-Time Days Patient Access Rep II to join our PAS Call Center Department at our Baptist Metro Square location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.
Shift Details: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
The Patient Access Rep II will support the PAS Call Center. This position is in a call center environment. In this position they will be taking full ownership of the tasks related to this position and provides successful outcomes that will enhance the reputation of Baptist Health and ensures a first positive impression from a patient experience perspective.

As a Patient Access Rep II, you will be responsible for:
- Registering patients accurately and efficiently
- Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
- Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
- Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
- Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
- Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
- Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
- Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
