As a Barclays US Structured Credit Salesperson, you’ll have the opportunity to to drive financing business collateralized by credit assets with clients by developing relationships with key stakeholders across the account base and converting opportunities into execution in concert with Structuring and Trading. The transactions executed by the team are complex, and in this role you’ll have the chance to use your problem solving and client management skills to optimize for the best outcome.

What will you be doing?
- Developing relationships with key credit clients, identifying and driving institutional focus on the most attractive and actionable opportunities
- Teaming up with internal stakeholders to marshal the resources of the firm to source financing opportunities
- Driving origination process by leading client discussions
- Participating in the transaction life cycle from inception through negotiation to execution and through the life of the trade
- Working closely with the structuring and origination teams to structure credit financing transactions across various products and asset types
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Finance / Economics or other math-heavy field)
- Knowledge of structured credit trade structures: reverse repurchase agreements, total return swaps, securitization structures, credit default swaps, credit agreements/loans
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and financial modelling, PowerPoint, Word
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Sales experience covering and delivering outcomes with clients in the credit / sponsor universe. Cross product knowledge a plus but not required
- CFA or equivalent a plus, but not required
- Experience with derivatives (swaps / CDS / options) a plus, but not required
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
