WHO ARE WE?
The Sourcing team helps to take our unique designs and transform them into products to sell to our customers with the help of our third-party manufacturing partners. Internally, we partner closely with the Design and Supply Chain teams in order to give dogs and their people the best experience possible. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Our sourcing team is looking for a detail oriented, dog-obsessed Sourcing Coordinator who is
obsessed with all products for dogs! This role will help us build a process for sample tracking, communicate daily with our overseas vendors, and work cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, Project Management, and Purchasing to support our team. We have toy and home collections growing rapidly for BarkBox, Super Chewer, and BARK Retail, and we need someone to help us stay on track and organized! A passion for all things sourcing and supply chain is a must!
KEY DUTIES
- Assist with SKU/UPC creation and product information maintenance
- Request and track all sample needs (development, pre-production, post production)
- Maintain PLM updates
- Weekly Production tracking; communicate potential delays or disruptions to larger cross functional teams
- Review and collect QA/QC (PSIs, Test Reports) documents for all SKUs
- Help drive process for packaging needs; distribute art file to suppliers
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of experience in sourcing (or equivalent)
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing weekly reporting and being responsible for data accuracy.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong verbal and written communication and follow up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Resourceful, with the ability to self-direct.
- Sense of urgency to keep developments progressing forward
- Knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing a plus.
- Skilled in Google Suite & Excel.
- Process driven.
- PLM experience is a plus.
