What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Supervisor position at BARKER?
The Account Supervisor at BARKER works closely with the Account Management team and in partnership with the VP, Group Account Director on BARKER’s integrated health & wellness business groups in a cross-functional account/project management role. You will be responsible for managing the integrated day-to-day efforts on key clients and accounts, internally and externally. This means handling the typical stuff like managing projects and timelines and navigating client process/regulatory protocol while building relationships based on trust and a very human level of empathy - all while honing strategic skills through writing creative briefs and providing valuable guidance to both client and creative teams. WHAT WE’LL NEED FROM YOU
- Manage and lead the agency's day-to-day efforts with key client relationships and accounts.
- Acts as a go-to person for cross-functional team(s), fostering positive internal relationships and ensuring everyone understands not just deliverables, but the clients’ WHY behind them
- Strategically advise clients and develop ideas and solutions that achieve business, marketing, and engagement objectives.
- Translate client assignments into meaningful briefs for the creative teams and effectively balance dual expectations of clients and the agency.
- Clearly establish objectives and priorities for client initiatives.
- Work with the creative team and other internal teams to ideate and develop concepts for projects and accounts.
- Multi-task and get the work done effectively and efficiently
- Manage a variety of work streams including traditional, digital, social, experiential, and promotional projects, including creation of timelines, teams, and budgets.
- Effectively and regularly communicate with internal team members and clients.
- Ownership of daily and/or weekly client status reports.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of, and be conversant in, assigned client's business, products, industry, and competitive landscape.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of relevant experience in marketing or advertising
- Experience working in a regulated industry required
- Has a positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to multitask - generally, a get-it-done go-getter
- Demonstrate effective communication and creative problem-solving skills
- Has excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Experience managing several accounts and/or projects simultaneously
- Experience creating and managing budgets for projects covering all of the above
- A strong understanding of the agency process and agency/client relationship model
- Ability to steer projects toward long-term, brand building goals, even through short-run projects
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
