Summary/Objectives:
The e-Commerce Team Lead Sales Associate is responsible for performing a variety of duties that support Barnabas’ on-line sales of donated items. The successful candidate will be assigned a primary role and will be cross trained in multiple areas including, but not limited to listing products, taking photographs, developing engaging product descriptions, processing sales and fulfilling orders.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the New to You e-commerce/online inventory (merchandise, sales and shipping)
- Inspect landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
- Develop campaigns to increase digital sales
- Assist with decision about promotions such as discounted offers and affordable bulk packages
- Ensure that payment options and promotional tabs are configured correctly
- Inspect and upload customer’s product reviews
- Monitor website traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to site updates
- Assist with forming our company’s overall Resale Store digital marketing strategy
- Stay abreast of and contribute to knowledge about resale products, discounts, and consumers’ preferences
- Analyze sales-related data to predict future sales and stock requirements
- Pull sold orders from inventory
- As needed, pull sold items for customer pick up and secure in designated area
- Properly package sold product
- Create Shipping Labels following UPS and USPS guidelines
- Monitor packing supplies
- Monitor completion of daily shipments and maintain monthly shipping manifests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the fulfillment area
- Meet minimum shipping goals
- Process donations adhering to Barnabas’s standards and guidelines
- Follow all Loss Prevention guidelines and safety/security measures
- Other duties may be assigned
Competency (knowledge, skills, abilities):
1. Demonstrated competency in sales, products, and service.
2. Demonstrated experience managing digital product inventory.
3. Knowledge of retail merchandising practices.
4. Experience using web analytics and optimization tools.
5. Data analysis and report writing abilities.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PP) and Shopify.
7. Solid communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
8. Managing people and work well with other Team members
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position supervises all employees/volunteers as assigned to the Barnabas New to You e-commerce Team.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are flexible and are scheduled Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:
Frequent travel to New to You store locations is required to retrieve merchandise as needed

- Associates degree in business, information technology, or marketing
- Experience in posting and selling online
- Demonstrated experience managing digital product inventory
