Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal support and assisting with various legal matters. Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Assist with case management and preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions
- Collaborate with senior attorney to develop case strategies
- Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes
- Perform legal administrative tasks as needed
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Attend court proceedings and represent clients when necessary
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong research and writing skills
- Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Ability to draft legal documents accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
