Printer Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Printer to join our team. As a Printer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This position requires expertise in various printing techniques and software applications.

Duties:
- Set up and operate printing presses, including screen printing and press machines
- Prepare printing plates and adjust settings to ensure accurate reproduction of designs
- Monitor print quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure proper layout design and typography
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the printing process
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Printer or similar role
- Proficiency in operating various types of printing equipment, including screen printing and press machines
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout design, and print advertising principles
- Familiarity with quality control processes in the printing industry
- Experience with prepress procedures, including preparing files for print production
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software
- Forklift certification is a plus
