What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Planner position at Barstool Sports?
Barstool Sports is looking for a Media Planner to join our growing Marketing and Advertising team. This individual will support building media plans and manage clients at varying tiers of revenue. The ideal candidate is someone who is familiar with the Barstool Sports brand, has exceptional communication skills, and is able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments across the company, including our Content teams. This role will be extremely impactful in connecting our current and future advertisers with Barstool fans at a high level.
What You'll Do
- Assist with ideating and creating media plans for RFPs and live events
- Communicate across teams (i.e. pricing, programming, production, marketing, sales) and ensure there is alignment across the board on pitched ideas, sellable assets, and any upcoming events
- Monitor and incorporate feedback from the client and/or the internal team for continuous workflow improvement
- Assist in the creation of wrap decks to provide insights and generate upselling opportunities
- Create templates in vinyl for all go-to-market plans once they are approved
- Track deliverables for tentpole events in kick-off call documents
- Keep an open dialogue with Sales to understand and react to market feedback as well as ad product performance
What You Have
- 3 years of experience working in digital media preferred– Publisher, Ad Tech, or Agency
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work efficiently and collaborate cross-functionally
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work toward long-term goals while delivering short-term wins
- Experienced in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000
