Overview :
We are seeking a Lawn Care Specialist to work in our growing turf care department. If you are looking for a company that can cross-train you in turf and tree care, this position is for you! As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing professional lawn care services to residential and commercial clients.
No experience is required!
Responsibilities :
- Monitoring, diagnosing, and treating insects, weeds, and diseases
- Applying fertilizers and weed and insect control products to residential and commercial lawns according to safety procedures and label instructions
- Performing slice seeding, aeration, over-seeding, and major turf care renovations
- Communicating with residential and commercial clients regarding work performed during site visits
- Completing accurate record-keeping and reporting daily
- Safely driving a company vehicle to multiple properties throughout the day
- Working as a member of a tree care crew, under the Arborist Crew Leader's supervision during the off-season
Qualifications :
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License we will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!
- Prior experience working in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required
- $22.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on experience
