We are seeking a professional like you to provide technical and managerial leadership to your staff and lead the long term strategic and reliability efforts for the site. You will serve as the site-wide community expert regarding complex electrical systems as it relates to maintenance and reliability solutions. You will implement innovative and technological advanced approaches to power system reliability. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability strategies consistent with requirements as defined by the Asset Management organization. Additionally, you will be responsible for direct and indirect reports as well as lead the audit program of electrical contractor QA/QC process.

- Leveraging your educational background in an Electrical Engineering, as well as your professional experience in Medium and High Voltage Power Maintenance/Reliability (2.3KV-238KV), you will be able to drive standardized work processes and standards to ensure efficient and effective work execution and technical development and progression for contract execution workforce. As the leader of the Power Distribution Department, you will create and maintain management systems to ensure safe and effective planning and execution of high voltage work at the Freeport Site. In addition, you will preserve and enhance the Power Distribution Knowledge Exchange process as well as continued maintenance of departmental KPI’s to drive transparency and continuous improvement. As you deal effectively with the unknown and unexpected you will also support the development and implementation of electrical reliability strategies in alignment with targets established by Asset Management. Your strong communications skills will be a valued asset as you provide facts and figures to collaborate and negotiate with Engineers, Maintenance and Operations Personnel, Procurement, Stores, Accounting, Site Leadership and manufacturing support services as you will analyze site-wide AE data, evaluate trends and commonalities across the site, and recommend/implement changes to site-wide-equipment strategies or maintenance programs to drive continuous improvements You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a 5-year Power Distribution Capital/Improvement plan. This plan will prioritize needs based on criticality and be shared/approved by the OD’s on site to assist in transparency of work. As you balance priorities across multiple plants and situations within resource constraints, while preserving a maintenance and engineering perspective and intent you will ensure the sustainability of reliability processes, such as Bad Actors, Root Cause Failure Analysis, FMEA, etc. are being followed within the site as well as ensuring that required technical capabilities are maintained through adequate training and succession planning.

- Electrical Engineering Degree required. Advanced degree (MS, MBA) preferred. Previous management experience strongly preferred. Experience in high voltage maintenance, operations, or asset management required.
