Boulder Ridge Country Club is owned and operated by Heritage Golf Group (HGG), a national owner and operator of premier private, resort, restaurant, and daily fee golf clubs. The private event space accommodates groups from 10 to 350 people and prides itself on premier service, customization, and amazing food presentation.
Reports To: Private Event Director
Compensation: Compensation package is commensurate with experience, total package range $60,000-$65,000 based on total annual sales actualized. Salary range is based on achieving and/or exceeding the budgeted event revenues.
Responsibilities:
The Wedding & Event Sales Manager position encompasses every aspect of events in terms of planning, communicating, and executing each account. The Wedding & Event Sales Manager is expected to represent guest needs within the framework of the catering and events team and represent the club as liaison to clients and guests. This role is the foundation for successful and memorable events at Boulder Ridge Country Club
JOB/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate should be someone that defines hospitality at their facility. Further qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Point of contact for all clients after initial sale - answers all e-mail and phone calls within a 24-hour time. Meets with clients as needed to discuss event details.
- Gathers and reviews information for each client primarily by phone or email, and schedules/facilitates meetings with clients to discuss décor, printed materials, table settings etc. for each event.
- Manage event related activities including contracts, payments, planning, and implementation.
- Maintains an organized and complete file for each account.
- Communicates the client’s goals and represents their interests to the event staff by updating event orders and floor plans.
- Responsible for the creation of menu cards, place cards, table rosters, and any other printed materials for events as needed.
- Responsible for coordination on the day of the event including attending to the bridal party needs, communicating with vendors, ensuring the event orders are followed precisely.
- Updates client account as needed and follows up with client to obtain feedback after their event.
- A minimum of two years’ previous event sales, event planning, Banquet Manager or F&B Operations experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Canvas, Jonas Encore or similar Event Management System, social media – Facebook and Instagram.
- Ability to create Vendor Partnerships that allow for additional upsells, increase profit margins on events, achieve financial monthly and annual sales goals.
- Must be available for evening, weekend events and some holidays.
