What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant position at Bassemiers?
Bassemier’s is looking for a friendly, outgoing individual to fill a full-time sales assistant position at our local, family-owned business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers, and assisting them until a sales person becomes available
- Answering phone calls, answering general inquires, and taking detailed messages if necessary
- Processing cash sales and entering sales orders
- Tidying up the store and maintaining the sales counter each day
- Making sure smaller items such as spa chemicals and grill accessories are stocked and priced
We are a local, family-owned business that has been in operation since 1968. We are a small, close nit, family-oriented bunch offering paid holidays, profit sharing, and more. The work environment is laid back but fast paced; our customers expect the best, so we expect the same of our employees. This position does require standing for long periods of time, as well as occasionally walking to other buildings on the property. The work week will be Monday thru Saturday, with Sundays off and one other day during the week.

- Be highly organized with strong follow up skills
Job Type: Full-time
