Under general direction from the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, the Shipping Associate is responsible for ensuring that orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner. 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: 

• Review pick tickets daily and distribute tickets to appropriate lines. 
• Make and place boxes at end of appropriate assembly line as needed for daily orders. 
• Pick correct accessories and decals as per order requirements and add to final product to complete order prior to shipping. 
• Review order contents for accuracy against picking ticket to ensure accuracy prior to shipping, detect errors as they occur, and bring discrepancies and errors to the immediate attention of the supervisor. 
• Weigh boxes, adhere labels, tape boxes and load shipments on to trailers using hand truck or cart.  
• Optimize downtime by participating in cross training and seeking tasks outside of regular responsibilities to support other areas of production, including repairable returns and sorting and dismantling returned products. 
• Regularly meets production and quality goals and deadlines set daily. 
• Cooperate with other team members to resolve daily issues. 
• Follow all prescribed safety and housekeeping guidelines. 
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and activities, including, but not limited to safety, job training, efficiency and quality and waste reduction.  
• Use SAP program to process shipments, verify credit payments and update inventory. 
• Process domestic and international shipments using commercial delivery computer programs (such as UPS, FedEx, USPS), to arrange pick-up and delivery, print labels and track shipping. 
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary. 

Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or equivalent.  
• Ability to read, communicate and comprehend written and verbal procedures and instructions. 
• Basic computer skills required such as use of a mouse, keyboard mastery (typing skills), basic navigational skills, and Internet and Windows experience.  
• Previous experience in shipping preferred. 
• MS Office knowledge and skill is a plus. 
• SAP experience is a plus.
