Job Title: IT Technician

Position Overview:
The IT Technician is an essential member of our Operations department, tasked with maintaining and enhancing the hardware and software systems of our company’s equipment, with a particular focus on ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of these customer-facing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specialize in the maintenance and support of ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage systems.
- Assess and upgrade the hardware and software capabilities of company equipment.
- Research and implement cutting-edge technology solutions to optimize the functionality and user experience of customer facing equipment
- Monitor and maintain systems to ensure security, integrity, and availability of data, with a focus on transactional and interactive equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to company equipment
- Conduct regular system updates and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and user interactions.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to staff, third-party vendors, and clients regarding the operation and troubleshooting of ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage.
- Travel locally to client sites to perform on-site repairs, installations, or provide technical consultations for deployed equipment
- Collaborate with the Operations team to strategically plan and execute projects involving ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage.
- Train end-users, co-workers, and management on new technologies related to ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage and provide ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and various software applications, with a special emphasis on transactional and display technologies.
- Experience with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and repair, specifically with ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage.
- Familiarity with system security techniques, firewall management, and data protection protocols for transactional systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record and willingness to travel as needed for installations, maintenance, and support of ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage.
Work Environment:
This job operates in both an office setting and in the field, with frequent interactions with ATMs, Kiosks, and digital signage equipment. The role routinely requires the use of standard office equipment, as well as technical tools for repairs and installations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required, as this position may require occasional evening and weekend work, especially for urgent issues.
