Job Posting for LPN Clinic - BRMC Family Practice Clinic at Baxter Health
$2,500 - $5,000 Sign On Bonus*
In this position you will be working closely with the provider and other related staff to provide excellent patient care to every patient, every time. Having the ability to work in a sometimes stressful environment, while maintaining a positive attitude, is a must. You will also need to exhibit exceptional communication and decision making skills.
Daily Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State Practical Nurse license in good standing.
Experience: Willing to train recent LPN graduate. Previous clinic experience desired.
Certifications: BLS required.
Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.
Safety Sensitive Designation
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist up to or exceeding 8-10 hours during shift(s). Occasionally requires lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment. Able to push in excess of 150 pound wheelchair with patient. Occasionally lifts patients with assist 125 pounds or more. Spends eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment. Must be able to handle highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.

This is a position in a clinical setting which is open 8-12 hours a day, up to 365 days a year. Holidays and work during inclement weather may be required.

- Reviewing all lab work and x-ray reports;
- Coordinate patient care between clinic and hospital or other clinics and hospital departments;
- Room Patients, record vitals, collect lab specimens;
- Utilization of EMR system;
- Assist provider(s) with all clinical procedures;
- Demonstrate current knowledge of commonly used medications and drug interactions;
