Your TeamAs the IT Delivery Leader, you will deliver differentiating capabilities and technical solutions across various digital platforms related to the scope area. You will lead resources to resolve user needs, design/architect, build, implement and support existing and new applications.
Being within the IT business area leadership team, you will work closely with business relationship managers to support the building of valuable, feasible, viable, and usable products across your assigned business /scope area. You will also define the overall integrated solution roadmap and work with global business partners to understand and communicate their needs
What you'll be doing- Manage E2E lifecycle for the delivery of capabilities from needs/requirements, solution design/architecture, build, implementation for all in scope applications.
- Set plans and goals; constantly communicate and build consensus to balance the needs of global, regional, and country partners (Business and IT) to meet the established outcomes
- Accountable for the submission of cases and securing approval/funding for their product lines and scope area by estimating budgets and effort from IT and business
- Responsible for the optimization of the delivery model
- Constantly pursues the rationalization of applications with redundant capabilities and finds the right balance of application needs versus features in global products and platforms.
- Active participant and influencer in our operational meetings with our support partner
- Play a lead role in process governance by ensuring that products within and across other dependent scope areas remain harmonized
- Innovate: research, prototype and drive the development and adoption of next generation technologies and business practices
- Ensure the roadmap includes architecture roadmap enablers, non-functional requirements: data privacy considerations, security, regulatory and supportability into the solutions
- Collaborate with other Delivery Leaders, and Architects to ensure the overall roadmaps remain aligned as the solutions evolve
- Report progress and status in terms of business and customer outcomes
- Support internal change management teams and external marketing teams to drive adoption and deliver solutions to market; ensure deployment leads/teams understand vision and solution, so they can increase adoption and improve utilization
- Leverage survey results, interviews with users and data/analytics and insights to continuously improve and scale their scope area. Evolve solution requirements based on feedback.
- Develops a team of internal and external resources in support of the above activities
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience leading third-party IT providers
- 7 years of experience leading people: advising others' work and oversight of work product and in recruiting, selecting, orienting and training and developing employees
- Prior responsibility with $2 million/year capital products/projects
- Technical competence in cloud applications
- Practitioner of Agile approach and culture. Understanding the SAFe (Agile at scale) approach is a plus.
- Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment
- Excellent customer-facing written and oral communications skills
- Ability and maturity to communicate and lead team members at all levels
- Understanding of regulations in the life sciences industry (quality, security, data privacy)
- Solid digital/technical skills foundation
- Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and global senior leadership
- Proven managerial skills, particularly in a matrixed environment

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 to $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
