What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Supervisor position at BAYADA Home Health Care?
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring an experienced home health nurse to fill the role of RN Supervisor in our Raleigh, NC office.
The RN Supervisor leads home health field staff on client service, clinical excellence, quality and adherence to policies and procedures. This position is accountable for internal case management, field staff evaluation and development. The RN Supervisor is a "true manager" position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career within BAYADA Home Health Care. The successful candidate will possess prior experience providing clinical oversight, guidance and judgment to care teams. Prior home health experience is strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence, reliability
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Leadership experience (i.e. preceptor, charge nurse, nurse manager)
- Previous home health, Medicare Part A and Part B, OASIS experience a plus
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and communicate The BAYADA Way core values - compassion, excellence, and reliability
- Supervise a team of nurses and therapists; provide ongoing education, coaching/feedback
- Develop care plans and oversee execution of care plans
- Review OASIS workflows and approve all clinical documentation (i.e. start of care, medication management, equipment orders)
- Make routine supervisory visits to assess client progress and staff competency
- Infection control reporting
- Assist with interviewing, hiring and onboarding field and office staff
- Act as a point of contact for clients for concerns, questions, or issues
